Rosemanor Residential Care Home

What We Offer?

Our facilities

Each of our homes have a secluded garden with ponds and also have ample parking space at the front of the property. They are situated all across South London; please click here for directions to each home. Each home provides easy access to local businesses, transportation and care services. Most of the rooms provided by Rose Manor are en suite, and the ones that are not are provided with a bathroom close by. There is a communal lounge and dining area, as well as a kitchen which are all designed to a high standard. Each bedroom has a bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside table, chair and a lockable cabinet for personal belongings. We always encourage service users to personalise their rooms with their own possessions such as Televisions and PCs provided they comply with the homes policy and procedures. Each lounge has ample seating space for those living in the home and a communal Television with Virgin Media and a DVD player. We also provide Wi Fi internet access in all of our homes, which is subject to use and availability. There is also a utility room, where we encourage service users to clean and iron their own laundry, however staff are always there should you require assistance.

Your Care

Once we have offered you a place with us, we will issue you with a Tenancy Agreement which tells you about your rights, the support available and your responsibilities whilst you are with us. Your social worker and care coordinator will provide us with a full Community Care Assessment with their expectations of the level of support that is to be provided by the home.

We will ask you out about your daily routine, likes and dietary requirements if you any. As well as you social, religious and cultural habits to establish how you would like your care to be conveyed. To help with this you will be allocated a key worker for the duration of your stay at Rose Manor. Their duty will be to ensure that you are well cared for and that your interests are adhered to. You will have a choice as to which member of staff they would prefer to have as their key worker. Where possible we will always try and change your key worker should you be unhappy with their performance.

A Personal Independence Plan will be made in order to get you back on your feet. This plan is a list of tasks and objectives which are aimed at increasing your level of independence, for example, it might include college or work experience or about learning to manage your finances and the place you live in. The plan will be kept by the manager and reviewed on a regular basis to see that your care is being maintained. When you're ready to move on we'll help you to secure appropriate accommodation to meet your needs as an extension of our service.

Activities and Excursions

We offer support to various leisure and recreational activities in the area. This will depend on which types of activities you would like to follow. This may include cooking classes or learning a new language. The home will organise big trips and outings to various UK destinations and in some cases abroad as well as smaller outings to watch a play or visit a local zoo in order for you to get the most of your stay.

Should you prefer to stay in the home, we supply various Newspapers and Periodicals, offer board games and video games as well as a weekly personal activities program. Our experienced staff will assist service users to fulfil their personal quality of life by planning trips and recreational activities, as well as providing support to make full use of the local public amenities throughout the local area.

An annual holiday is offered and regular outings are arranged to places of interest. We often offer holidays to UK destinations such as Blackpool Holiday Resort and Spa, Brighton and Butlins Resort.
